Dr. McElwee and his staff are the best around. I have been to many different vets over the years and have never been as impressed as I am with CAH. I highly recommend them, even if you live outside of Cartersville. It would be well worth the drive to go see him.

I love Dr. McElwee & the staff he keeps at Cartersville Animal Hospital. Having had 5 dogs, many of which were rescued, he has seen my animals through everything from Bloat & Erlichiosis to Mange & Hookworms. Most vets know animals, but what I most especially love about Dr. McElwee is that he respects the notion that I know MY pets & he listens to the symptoms I describe... thus saving my pets precious time in the diagnosis stage. I have found he & his team to be most efficient at what they do & very warm, open, honest people. I absolutely trust these people & although I know he is a doctor and not a miracle worker, he has worked miracles with my crew.

He runs a great place.
I have 4 dogs, 3 Scotty's and 1 Westie and they have always been very nice...even when we are running late, they have always been kind and considerate.
We have been going their now for 14 years and have never had anything but good experiences. Dr. Kevin always takes the time to explain the issue and the care needed.
I would recommend Cartersville Animal Hospital to anyone...
